There is a place in every heart,
They call it Memory Lane,
Where thoughts of loved ones lost
Forever will remain.

God made this special place
When He first created man,
For He knew it would be needed,
As part of our life's plan.

He knew when loved ones left us,
We'd need some time to heal,
To come to terms with sorrow
And the loneliness we'd feel.

So when you lose a loved one
And your life is filled with pain,
The comfort of their presence
Will be found in Memory Lane.

In a twinkling of an instance
A dream comes to an end
The winds of change presented
Coming round the bend

And so your world is shattered
A breaking of your heart
The fabric of your being
So quickly ripped apart

It's all that you imagined
In all your wildest dreams
The emptiness surrounds you
With pain or so it seems

But this is not the ending
For strength lives on through will
My love is always with you
And I am with you still

You Were The Pride Of Our Hearts":

"It's so difficult to let you go
Though death's left us no other choice
We're mourning the loss of never seeing you again
Of never hearing your precious voice

It seems that in life there are certain times
Which are more than "simply unfair"
When our hearts search out for better answers
But cannot seem to find them there

And such is the case at your passing
Contemplating the briefness of your life
All the great things that you still would have done
If you'd been granted a little more time

It isn't difficult to envision the possibilities
For look at what you'd already done
The difference you'd made in so many lives
In all that you had become

Perhaps you were simply too good for this life
So God called you back to Heaven
That your life needed no further testament
Than the goodness you'd already given

But regardless of the reason
For why you had to depart
We'll miss you every single day of our lives
For you were The Pride Of Our Hearts!

Thank you for being our example
Inspiring us through your courage and drive
We'll cherish all the precious memories
You lovingly created in our lives

HEARTSTRINGS

When those we love go away, they never really leave us;
they are with us now, wherever we are.
Those whom we have cherished, live on forever,
for love wraps itself around the heart.
Although it's difficult now,
someday beyond our tears and all the world's wrongs;
beyond the clouds and all that we can see and touch,
we shall all understand.

Word

There is a word, of grief the sounding token.
There is a word bejewelled with bright tears.
The saddest word fond lips have ever spoken,
A little word that breaks the chain of years.
Its utterance must ever bring emotion,
The memories it crystals cannot die.
‘Tis known in every land, on every ocean,
It is
Goodbye.

Not, How Did He Die, But How Did He Live?

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.

Sent with love ♥

Why is our heart breaking.
When we think of you,
Why is our body aching
With our memories so true,
⋱♥⋰
Why did you have to go,
We need you now today,
Its because we love you so,
In each and every way,
⋱♥⋰
We will try and keep on going,
We will try to keep so strong,
But you should be here beside us.
In our home where you belong.

For u uncel mick x

Celtic Blessing
May the roads rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
